Seeing an 'Archive' status next to your samples? Can't download files? It may be that your samples are now in the Gencove Archive.
The Gencove Archive is when samples, older than 30 days, are automatically transitioned from hot storage to cold storage. Once a sample is in the Archive, its deliverables are not immediately available for download, and users will need to intentionally restore them from the Archive to retrieve them - either by using the Gencove web dashboard, command-line interface (CLI), or API.
Note: Sample restoration can take up to 50 hours. Upon restoration, sample deliverables are available to download again but for only 12 days, after which they will return back to the Archive.
